Township website has contact information, town meeting agendas/minutes, and links to other resources such as applications for rezoning, driveway and cutvert permits, and variances.

Monthly Town board meetings are generally held the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Check the website for changes or additional meetings.

BUILDING PERMITS – Building Permit is required for property improvements with values of $2500.00

OR MORE AND SHOULD BE OBTAINED A MINIMUM OF 2 WEEKS BEFORE START OF PROJECT. Values include material AND LABOR, whether you paid for labor or did the work on your own. Permits are good for 1 year.

Contact Judy Stiteley at 324-9380. This includes remodeling changes, windows, siding, new shingles, blacktopping or cementing driveways, new construction of all kinds, grain bins, storm damage, etc.

Penalty charge of $200/day if fail to obtain the permit prior to start of project. Contact Borree Appraisals (920-766-9166) if structure is removed.

DRIVEWAYS – All new driveways and/or culverts require a Driveway Permit prior to installation.

Contact a Town Board member for information. Can obtain application on website.

Pushin snow or other materials onto or across roadways is ILLEGAL per WI State Law

Statutes 86.01, 86.07(2), 346.94(5), and 941.01. The State Patrol & County Sheriff’s Departments will enforce this law.

Please follow these statutes in order to avoid penalty and liability and to keep travel safe. ALSO, PLEASE KEEP YOUR GRASS CLIPPINGS OFF OF THE ROADWAYS!

RECYCLING PROGRAM – Drop-off recycling center is located at Aronson Recycling 513 Fond du Lac Street, Waupun, WI 53963 {324-2209). No charge to Town residents for aluminum, glass, newspaper, magazines, tin cans, paper, and plastic.

DOG LICENSES

All dogs 5 months and older are required to be licensed

All dogs 4 months and older are required to be vaccinated for rabies. Late fee of $5.00 will be charged after April 1, 2023.

Requirements:

  1. Copy of current rabies certificate for proof of vaccination.

This will also provide me with details required for your license such as owner name and address, pet name, breed, color, M/F, Spayed/Neutered. Please add phone number if not listed on the certificate.

  1. Payment

Spayed or Neutered Dogs – $3.00 All others – $8.00 Kennel License (up to 12 dogs) – $35.00

  1. Self-addressed stamped envelope to receive your dog tags.

Stray dogs: Pick-up of stray dogs are the owner’s responsibility, including expenses incurred for their care. If you find a stray dog, please call one of your board members. The township has a list of licensed dogs that would help locate the owner.
