Please take notice that a Town Caucus will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Town Hall, N4369 Cty Hwy M, Brandon. This will be held immediately following the regular monthly Town Board meeting (7:30) for the purpose of nominating candidates for all elected Town Offices.

TESTING OF VOTING EQUIPMENT

Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. public testing of the voting equipment will take place at the Waupun Town Hall. This equipment will be used for the General Election held on November 6, 2018.

DISPOSAL OF BRUSH FROM STORM

Town of Waupun Residents: 

The CITY of Waupun is allowing The TOWN of Waupun to dispose of their debris & brush at the City Dump located at 903 N Madison Street.

THIS IS ONLY FOR THE DEBRIS FROM THE RECENT STORM.

SPRING Election Information

Spring ELECTION

TUESDAY, April 2, 2019

Voting Hours Day of Election: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Voting by Absentee Ballot

Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. Citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wished to vote for at least 10 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued.

Thursday, Marach 28, 2019 at 5pm

The deadline for mailing application to receive an absentee by mail is 5pm on the fifth day before the election.Request Absentee Application: Contact your municipal clerk at 920.583.5171 and request that an application for an absentee ballot be sent to you for the election.Submit a written request in the form of a letter, email, fax, or in person. Your written request must list your voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote, the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different, and your signature.

Voter Registration

Voter registration is required in the Town of Waupun before an elector is allowed to vote. A qualified elector is a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years of age, having resided in the election district for at least 10 days.

And elector can register at the polling place on Election Day, or by mail. Please call the Clerk’s office for the date restrictions for registration at 920.583.5171

Proof of Residence

 Proof of residence is required when registering at the polling place on Election Day.

Only one form of acceptable proof of residence is required to register to vote.

An acceptable form of identification includes a current and complete name and residential address.

Voter Registrations by mail will be accepted if they are post marked no later than the 3rd Wednesday before the Election. After this date you must register with the Clerk or on Election Day. Proof of Residence must be provided with the application form.

Notice of Meeting to Adjourn Board of Review to Later Date

Notice of Meeting to Adjourn Board of Review to Later Date

Town of Waupun, Fond du Lac County

Board of Review will meet on the 6th day of, June 2018 at 5:30p.m. at N4369 Cty Hwy M, Brandon, WI for the purpose of calling the Board of Review into session during the forty-five day period beginning on the 3rd Monday of April, pursuant to Sec. 70.47 (1) of Wis. Statutes.

Due to the fact the assessment roll is not completed at this time, it is

anticipated that the Board of Review will be adjourned until the 20th day of

June, 2018 at 5:00 to 7:00p.m. 

Pursuant to Sec. 70.45 of Wis. Statutes the assessment roll for the Year

2018 Open Book assessment will be open for examination on the 11th day of

June, 2018 at N4369 Cty Hwy M from 5:00 to 7:00p.m.

Instructional material about the assessment and board of review procedures will be

available at that time for information on how to file an objection and the board

of review procedures under Wisconsin law.
